Lone Prince

There was a traveler who wandered the paths where the wind blew backward.
Proud and haughty he was. He introduced himself as the Prince of Ideran.

People mocked him.
You are not a prince.
Everyone knows Ideran has fallen long ago.
People of Ideran were trampled by the forest.
The great castles were devoured by the dragons.
You are not a prince. You are an awful liar.

But the traveler claimed firmly.
I am a prince.
Ideran has not fallen.
I remember the bell of the Golden Tower and the silver river across the city.
The kingdom is alive as ever in my heart.
I am still a proud prince.

The prince went off the journey again, lifting his head up.
